Shawn Quilty is a senior commercial real estate executive, land developer, and strategic advisor with over 15 years of land development experience delivering complex residential, mixed-use, and development land projects across Southern Ontario. He specializes in development land, affordable and workforce housing, mixed-use projects, and strategic advisory services for private investors, non-profits, municipalities, and international partners.
As President of Casam Land Developments, Shawn leads the sourcing, acquisition, feasibility, and entitlement of residential and mixed-use developments ranging from small urban infill sites to large-scale greenfield master-planned communities exceeding 100 acres. His work includes close collaboration with municipal, provincial, and federal stakeholders to navigate planning policy, zoning, site plan approval, and housing program alignment.
In parallel, Shawn operates White Oak Advisory Ltd., a strategic advisory firm providing tactical and executive-level guidance in land development, affordable housing delivery, and Indigenous housing initiatives. White Oak Advisory supports domestic and international groups entering the Canadian market, off-site and modular construction platforms, and investors seeking to deploy capital into housing and development opportunities at scale.
Prior to his corporate real estate tenure, Shawn served ten years in the Royal Canadian Air Force as an Avionics Systems Technician, supporting Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Tactical Helicopter, and Strategic Airlift Squadrons. This tenure instilled a disciplined, systems-based, and mission-focused approach to leadership and complex problem-solving under high-pressure conditions.
Widely regarded for bridging the gap between corporate vision and local execution, Shawn translates complex regulatory, financial, and technical constraints into actionable development strategies that accelerate housing supply and foster durable asset value across both public and private sectors.
